Return and Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase! If for any reason you are not, we offer a 7-day return policy for store credit. Please review the details below:
Eligibility for Returns:
- Customers have 7 days from the date of receiving their items to request a return.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
- Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return.
How to Request a Return:
To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@internationalnotesfromjapan.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a brief explanation of why you'd like to return the item. Once your return request is approved, we will provide detailed instructions on how to send the item back.
Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Store Credit:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If approved, your return will be processed, and you will receive store credit for the amount of your original purchase (excluding original shipping costs). The store credit will be issued in the form of a discount code, which can be used toward future purchases.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Sale items
- Items that have been used or altered
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Damaged or Defective Items:
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at hello@internationalnotesfromjapan.com with your order number and photos of the damage. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
